I’m a registered social worker offering online psychotherapy to adults and teens in Ontario. I specialize in working with people who are being impacted by trauma, including childhood and complex trauma, and love supporting people to feel more connected to the most authentic version of themselves and what they value most in life.
I support clients to address:
Anxiety and chronic stress
Emotional overwhelm or numbness
Self-doubt and shame
People-pleasing and perfectionism
Relational challenges like distrust of others or fear of holding boundaries
Grief, loss and life transitions
Nervous system regulation
Adult Therapy
If you carry around a sense of being “too much” or never enough, feel overwhelmed with stress, are overcome by or numb to emotions, or burdened with an inner vigilance that has you always waiting for the worst to happen, this may be the place for you.
I offer individual therapy for adults wanting to understand and transform how past relationships and events are continuing to impact the present. Together, we may explore relational challenges, family of origin trauma & neglect, anxiety, depression, chronic stress and low self-worth.
My clients tend to want something more than coping skills (because you’ve likely been coping your whole life!) and are looking to develop a greater sense of self-compassion, connection and deeper, more lasting change.
Let’s get in touch.
Teen Therapy
Starting therapy can be intimidating - especially for teens! I’ve worked with young people for more than 15 years and love helping them have an experience of therapy where instead of feeling like someone’s trying to “fix” or change them, this can be a space where they can truly be who they are. We’ll center their needs and insights, build on the knowledge, skills and creativity they already have, and find ways to address what’s important while also not needing therapy to be so serious all the time.
Together, we can address:
big feelings like anger or sadness
significant life changes such as parental divorce or loss
experiences of anxiety
identity and self-esteem
Training & Consultation
I’m passionate about promoting people-centered and strengths-based frameworks that support how teams work with each other and deliver frontline programming in their communities.
For more than 15 years, I developed and facilitated relational, trauma-informed and mindfulness initiatives and training curriculum with young people, staff and parents within schools, jail facilities and in partnership with a wide range of community partnters across Ontario, including Toronto District School Board, Ministry of Children & Youth Services, Pathways to Education, and MLSE LaunchPad.
The countless lessons I’ve learned through many years as an executive director and senior program & partnership developer for a grassroots organization that I co-founded inform the workshops and consultation I offer on leadership and engagement.
